Stephen Williams - working hard for Bristol West

College students visit Westminster

Bristol West MP Stephen Williams hosted a visit to Westminster by students from City of Bristol College. The 'A' Level Politics students had an hour long question and answer session with Stephen and were also able to sit in the public gallery of the House of Commons to watch a debate.

Stephen said, "As usual I was impressed by the questions I received from the students across a wide variety of issues. In 2005 I introduced a Private Members Bill to lower the voting age to 16. These students were proof that 16 and 17 year olds are fully capable of voting in future elections."
