Stephen Williams - working hard for Bristol West

Williams visits Avon Riding Centre for the Disabled

3.22.44pm GMT Fri 6th Nov 2009

Stephen Williams MP has today visited Avon Riding Centre for the Disabled. The centre, based in Kingsweston, is one of the largest in the country, with over 25 horses. In addition to the core staff, the centre relies on the dedicated efforts of over 150 local volunteers.

Stephen saw several children and adults riding. He said, "I wasn't previously aware of the scale of the charity's operations in Bristol, and I know they are working hard to raise their profile. I would particularly encourage anyone who feels able to volunteer for the charity in a variety of capacities, to get in touch."
