MP pledges support for children and young people with cancer

Bristol West MP, Stephen Williams, pledged his support for children and young people with cancer on Wednesday 23 June at CLIC Sargent's parliamentary reception in the House of Commons.

Stephen Williams MP committed to support CLIC Sargent's vital work by signing a pledge along with other parliamentarians. He said: "It is vital that we support the work that CLIC Sargent does to support children and young people with cancer and their families across the UK."

Lorraine Clifton, CLIC Sargent's Chief Executive said: "We are delighted that Stephen Williams was able to attend and pledge his support for the work that we do. This was a fantastic opportunity for the young people we support to speak directly to MPs and Lords about their experiences."

If you are a resident of the Bristol West constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
