On Thursday 20th May Nick Clegg and David Cameron, alongside other coalition cabinet Ministers, unveiled the full coalition agreement, which sets out the Liberal Democrat-Conservative government's major policies for the coming term.
The 36 page document provides a detailed overview of the coalition government's agreed policy programme in all areas of government, broken down into 31 separate chapters, with a joint foreword from Nick Clegg and David Cameron that emphasises the coalition government's focus on fairness, freedom and responsibility.

Commenting on the coalition agreement Stephen Williams, MP for Bristol West, said:
"I hope that people will take this opportunity to view the coalition agreement and see for themselves the significant influence that the Liberal Democrats have had in shaping this coalition government's policies.
"I was pleasantly surprised at how accommodating David Cameron and the Conservatives have been, and this document is a testament to the great extent to which Liberal Democrat policies, as set out in our manifesto, have been adopted and incorporated into the coalition government's policy agreement.
"I now enter into this new session of Parliament with confidence that this - previously unlikely - union will ensure the strong government that this country needs in order to start tackling the big issues that Britain is facing."
