MP wishes Chinese community a Happy New Year!

Bristol West Liberal Democrat MP Stephen Williams has wished all of the Chinese community a Happy New Year of the Tiger. He attended a traditional dragon dance and lunch with local community leaders and elders at the Chinese Community Associations on Lower Ashley Road.

He also attended a gala evening event at the Grand Hotel along with the Lord Mayor and a Representative of the Chinese Embassy.

Stephen said, "I wish all my Chinese origin constituents a happy and prosperous year of the Tiger. The Chinese community make a big contribution to life in Bristol and I was pleased to help them celebrate their special day".
