Saint Paul's Carnival awards attended by MP

Stephen Willams, MP for Bristol West attended the annual awards ceremony for the Saint Paul's carnival. Awards and certificates were handed out at the Gala dinner at the City Academy. There were accolades for the best performances at Bristol's biggest community festival as well as for those who do the all important work behind the scenes. Stephen Williams spoke at the event and presented the award for the best dance group.

Stephen said, "I was delighted to be able to pay tribute to all the people who made this years awards carnival such a great success. It's particularly pleasing that so many Bristol schools put a lot of effort into the carnival day parade."
