Stokes Croft China shop opens!

Local MP Stephen Williams attended the opening of a temporary China Shop in Jamaica Street. This is the latest venture of the Peoples Republic of Stokes Croft. The shop will be open until Christmas.

PRSC co-ordinator, Chris Chalkley, has been busy firing up mugs, cups, saucers and plates with a variety of patterns from yesteryear as well as some with a more local theme. Temporary shop is one of many ventures undertaken by PRSC to breath new vitality into the Stokes Croft area.

Stephen says, "I applaud the efforts of Chris and his colleagues. I've bought a mug and I urge everyone to go along to buy something different for Christmas."
