Liberal Democrat Leader Nick Clegg visited Bristol today. He was introduced to a packed audience at the Colston Hall by Bristol West MP Stephen Williams. Nick spent over an hour answering questions from the floor on topics ranging from nuclear power to land tax, as well as Europe and how to clean up British politics.
The questions were completely uncensored and were unknown to Nick in advance. Over 250 Bristol residents packed the new Hall 2 venue at the Colston Hall, which may be better known to Bristolians as the old interval bar area. The Bristol visit was Nick's second town hall meeting in the city - last year he addressed a packed meeting at Manor Hall in Clifton.
