Stephen Williams, "Extra services to Temple Meads are clearly something to be welcomed, many constituents write to me about problems with the bus services in Bristol, and I am glad they are beginning to rectify this issue."
For your information here are the planned changes to services:
Service 90- between Broadmead and Hengrove will be increased to meet customer demand from every 12 minutes to every 10 minutes at peak times. There will be an extra last bus on Monday - Saturday evenings. This will be 20 minutes later than at present, leaving Broadmead at 2320.All buses will also call at Imperial Park in Hartcliffe and journeys on Sundays will be extended from Inns Court Green to the Hengrove Depot.
Service 70- between the University of the West of England and the Centre, will also see more buses with the frequency of journeys at off peak times increasing to every 15 minutes from every 20 minutes. A new link is being created to Temple Meads Rail Station on Monday- Saturday evenings.
Services 20 and 21- being simplified and will now also serve Temple Meads.
Buses will be diverted to travel along Redcliffe Way, Temple Gate (for Temple Meads), Bath Road, Wells Road before joining the normal route in St Johns Lane.
