Stephen Williams MP supports Caring at Christmas open day

Stephen Williams MP with the Caring at Christmas teamStephen Williams MP is supporting the homeless shelter, Caring at Christmas, this year. On Saturday he dropped down to the Shelter in St Paul's with Cllr Shirley Marshall, to drop off donations of food and clothing collected by his office and see how the shelter was run. He met with Malcom, Ailsa and Sian the Managers and toured the shelter with Beryl, one of the volunteers (photo right).

Stephen and his staff are collecting food, clothes and toiletries for the Shelter and volunteering over the Christmas week to help with cooking, washing, cleaning and companionship for the homeless people there. Stephen said "Christmas is a time which is particularly difficult for people who are homeless and as such charities and volunteers that help to make their lives at this time of year easier deserve our support."
