Stephen Williams joins a cross party photo call to support Make Poverty History.
Prospective Lib Dem MP for Bristol West, Stephen Williams, joined representatives of many other political parties today in pledging his support for the Make Poverty History campaign organised by Oxfam and many other organisations.
The campaign aims to target the British Government as they chair both the G8 and take the EU Presidency to persuade them that action really can be taken to axe third world debt, introduce fairer trade systems and to improve the conditions connected to international aid.
Stephen Williams said "This is an historic opportunity for Britain to make a real difference on the world stage. Blair and Bush have a lot to make up for after the disaster of the Iraq war. Whoever is in power after the election must make sure their pledge today is backed up by action."
