Charles Kennedy supports Stephen Williams in his campaign to become Bristol West's next MP.

Lib Dem Leader Charles Kennedy today visited Bristol as part of a whistle stop tour around the country. He and local Prospective Lib Dem Stephen Williams walked down Park Street to College Green meeting and greeting shoppers and shop keepers.

They both received a very warm response and the visit will give a real boost to Stephen Williams' campaign to become the next MP for Bristol West.

Stephen said "The support we are receiving from across accross the constituency shows that we stand an excellent chance of electing our first Lib Dem MP in Bristol. This election will be a clear fight between the Liberal Democrats and Tony Blair's Labour."
